提 要：虹霓是一种自然天象，我国古代关于虹霓的崇拜及其信仰习俗肇始于原始社会，并一直延续至近现代。汉代墓葬（祠堂）中亦刻画有虹霓画像，作为一种祥瑞图像而出现在汉画中的虹霓，其形象均为躯体向上弯曲呈弧形的双首合体龙，彰显出阴阳交合的虹龙神性。从虹神与其它画像之组合关系的层面上来考察，不难看出，虹神具有降雨以及祈福禳灾的宗教功能。

Title: The Images and Functions of the Rainbow God on the Stone Relies from the Han Dynasty

Abstract:Rainbow is a celestial phenomenon. The custom of worshiping rainbow in china began in the primitive stage of Chinese civilization and still exists in the present times. There also were carved rainbow images in the tombs of Han Dynasty, which has been regarded as an auspicious sign by modern researchers. Every image of the rainbow appearing in the stone relies from the Han Dynasty looks like a two-head dragon whose body curved up like an arc displaying the copulation ofYin(阴)andYang（阳）. In the in vestigation of the images combining the Rainbow God with other elements, it is clear that the Rainbow God has the religious function of rain controlling, calamity avoiding, and blessing.
