提 要：将刘孝标为《世说新语》作注的行为放置在梁朝修礼撰史的大背景下进行考察，可以确定刘孝标的《世说注》应是奉梁武帝之命而作。考证刘孝标在梁朝奉诏校书的具体时间，也能确定刘孝标为《世说新语》作注的起始时间为天监元年，完成的下限则为天监七年五月。

Title: A New Study of the Completion Time ofShishuo Xinyu Zhu

Abstract:This article places Liu Xiaobiao（刘孝标）’s action of making notes forShishuo Xinyu(《世说新语》) in the background of the reconstruction of ritual system and re-writing history of the Liang dynasty. It is held that Liu Xiaobiao took that action because of the order from Emperor Wudi. By a textual examination, it is confirmed that Liu Xiaobiao started his work in the first year of Tianjian(天监，502-519) and finished in the seventh year of Tianjian(508).
