提 要：黠戛斯是曾活跃于今叶尼塞河流域的唐代北方民族之一，其悠久历史可上溯至西汉，其历史影响远播中亚。历代汉文文献对黠戛斯族名的汉字表达形式不一，译自的语源也颇复杂。本文运用历史语文学方法，探究黠戛斯族名汉文译写多变的原因，并就与此相关的中国古代北方民族史研究若干问题进行讨论。

Abstract:Qïrqïz was one of the northern nationalities that dwelled along the Yenisei River in Tang Dynasty. With a long history that traced back to the Western Han Dynasty, Qïrqïz made a widespread impact on Central Asia. However, in Chinese historical texts, there were different expressions of the tribe name of Qïrqïz; the etymology of Qïrqïz is definitely worth studying. Using the historical philology method, I found the reason why there were so many different Chinese transcriptions of the tribe name of Qïrqïz, and this would make a difference to researches on ancient northern nationalities in China.
