提 要：《市政官法》在拜占庭帝国的法律史上占有重要地位，这部法律主要用于规范君士坦丁堡的金银珠宝、丝绸、香料等行业。瑞士学者朱尔斯•尼克尔最早在瑞士图书馆发现该法律手册，经过其整理、编辑后，于1893年出版希腊文、拉丁文校勘本和法译本，这是目前国外拜占庭研究学术界认可的权威版本。本文即根据朱尔斯•尼克尔的希腊文校勘本，并结合弗雷什菲尔德的《市政官法》英译本进行译注，意在提供更符合原文的、完整的中文译本。

Title: A Chinese Translation and Commentary of the ByzantineThe Book of Eparch

Abstract: The Book of Eparchis an important code in the history of the Byzantine Empire. It includes a lot of articles dealing with Dealers in bullion and money-lenders, Merchants of Silk stuffs and Perfumers in Constantinople. Jules Nicole firstly found this law in Swiss Library. After being organized and edited, it was published in Greek, Latin and French in 1893, which is the authoritative version in the field of Byzantine research at present. Based upon the Greek version and the English version, this text offers a better Chinese version ofthe Book of Eparch.
