Abstract:Xing Yitian, a contemporary scholar in Taiwan, has contributed significantly to the study of Roman History during his long professional career. He has so far edited source books, written journal articles and book reviews, translated many important documents, and published one archaeological report and many photographs of the antiquities. Some of these achievements are rarely known by the scholars in the mainland of China and deserve more academic attention.
