提 要：北魏前期，国家封授诸王爵位，一般都要为受爵者加拜将军号。诸王领有将军号使王爵与国家职官体系结合在一起，因而也就加重了诸王的政治地位。北魏国家封授诸王爵位时所加的将军号称为“本将军”。诸王的“本将军”号并不是固定不变的，在需要的时候，国家可以迁转他们的将军号。诸王领有的将军号同爵位一样，也可以被继承。但由于诸王所领将军号的品级很高，将军号的传袭表现出明显的复杂性。

Title: On the Change and Inheritance of the General Titles Awarded to the Princes during the Early Northern Wei Period

Abstract:In the early stage of the Northern Wei dynasty, all formally appointed Princes were additionally granted with titles of general. Those titles of general might be changed by the monarch. On the other hand, in connection with the high rank of these general titles, their inheritance became obviously complicated matters.
