提 要:皮锡瑞赞同以《仪礼》十七篇为孔子所定之说;认为《周礼》当出自六国时人,非必出于周公,亦非刘歆伪作;《礼记》中如《王制》和《礼运》这样有着完整意义的篇目,当可分篇别出,《王制》为孔门弟子所作。在重视经学家法的观念下,皮氏对《周礼》、《王制》给予了很多关注,力图通过对《周礼》、《王制》的解析以明今古文之分。皮锡瑞治经重今文,并强调经学之微言大义,他对古礼多从礼之义的角度来认识。

Abstract:Pi Xirui agrees that the classical documentYili(仪礼) was edited by Confucius, whileZhouli(周礼) was written by scholars in the era of Warring States, and the sectionWangzhi(王制) ofLiji(礼记) was written by followers of Confucius. Pi Xirui pays special attention toZhouliandWangzhiand tries to made clearer distinction between the New Text perspectives and the Older Text perspectives in his study of Classics.
