申叔时与中国最早的历史教育论

提 要:在中国历史上,历史教育有悠久的传统和重大的意义。《国语•楚语上》所记春秋中期楚国大夫申叔时论傅太子之道,是目前所见历史文献中较早和较明确的关于历史教育的论述。申叔时所提出的九种历史文献及其教育作用,包含广泛的内容和社会意义,在中国古代历史教育史上有重要的影响。本文根据三国吴人韦昭《国语解》和相关补注文本,以及先秦文献进行考察,确认申叔时是中国最早的历史教育论者之一,并对其深刻的历史教育理念做出探析。

Title:Shen Shushi and the Earliest Discussion on Historical Education in China

Abstract:The historical education has a long tradition in China. In the middle Spring and Autumn Period, Shen Shushi, who was a senior official in State of Chu, made a discussion on the crown prince education. Shen Shushi’s discussion recorded inChu Yu (I)ofGuoYuhas been regarded as the earliest discussion on historical education in China. This article explains the nine historical documents and their educational function proposed by Shen Shushi on the basis ofThe Interpretation of GuoYuby Wei Zhao, the related notes onGuoYuand some Pre-Qin documents, in order to reveal Shen Shushi’s profound educational idea and his historical position in China.
